There has been a n argument regarding an issue that people today spend too much time on personal enjoyment rather than doing what they should do. Some poeple think that they are doing what they need to do. However, from my perspective, people especially students and adults who are unware of responsibilities are wasting their prescious time on unnecessary entertainments.
| To begin with, students in moder society have tendency to lack their responsibilities. In general, most students do unnecessary things such as video games rather than studying, which is first prioirty of their 'to do'. Nowadays, there are countless numbers of attractive video games that lure many students. Because many of them lose self-control while playing games, this results in unsatisfactory outcomes like lowering grades. For instance, according to the survey towards students that was held by University of Nebraska, 73% of the high school students spend their extra time after school on video games, and most students in that percentage said that they barely do their homeworks. Hence, it is manifest that students occupy their time on personal amusements even if they have other useful stuffs to do.
In addition, not only there are problems in students, but also in adults. Simply, they spend quite a lot of time on needless things such as going to clubs, and drinkings. In today's society, there is no doubt that the most popular thing to do among adults is drinking. Although it is not really useless activity, they tend to waste too much time as well as money on it. To give an example, my uncle who works at designing a car prefers to go out drinking with his friends. He even does this every night. Conversely, he could've worked on designing more cars, or elaborating on them, and this would make possible to increase his salary, thereby proving my opinion that adults are forgetting of what they truly have to do.
In sum, it was shown that both of students and adults spend too much time unnecessarily on personal interests instead of what they ought to do. I strongly recommand that students and adults who fall into these catogories should reconsider on their accountability. |
