It is often said that people can success gain success from planning, so they are needed need to establish blueprint. Although some people may agree with the statement above, I firmly believe that advantage of getting taking risks or chances is more important. There are several reasons for my opinions, but two of the most ones are as follows. First, it developes the a strong mind. Moreover, there is a lot of unexpected circumstances in our lives. so what? :) - need more elaboration.
Most of all, people build thier mind stronger while going through the adversity. Granted, it will waste their physical and psychological power, but they will learn about the way of dealing with the problems, so it is not likely that the problem happens again. For example, I wanted to ride a bicycle when I was young. Although afraid of being hurt, I had to take a risk to ride a bike. Getting hurt was very helpful for me, because it taught me (getting hurt itself does not teach you directly, which is what you are stating with this expression) how to ride without falling down. As a result, risk leads (again, risk itself does not and cannot lead, experience from taking risks does. English is a detailed language unlike Korean. So without fully and profoundly thorough expression, the clarity often gets obscured. Be aware!) us to make less mistakes and to be perfect in our work.
Moreover, not only can the mind strengthen, but risks or chances are also necessary in unexpected situations. Opponents may argue that planning can prepare for upcoming problems. However, I think that it can't deal with abrupt problems that happen frequently in reality. It is the ability to treat the unconsidered unexpected problems that is necessary in life. In case of Miss Jiseon, she took the accidents, so she got severe hurt by fire. Then, it was helpful for her to have the will to overcome the circumstance, not intellectual plan. In addition, she considered the accident as the chance which is turning point in her life. She didn't surrender to the disaster. Therefore, planning is less helpful, because there is many unexpected accidents. However, people can proceed toward success through these adversities. Who is Miss Jiseon? There needs to be explanation.
In conclusion, I think that taking risks or chances is the most important element in success. If success derives from risks or chances, it is because they can build a stronger mind. Additionally, they can teach how to go through problems in unplanned situations.
