▶ Your Answer :
Doing one project may have both positive and negative effect people who have to work. Therefore, it is controversial whether Focusing on doing one project is better than doing multiple projects. However, I believe that the former is suggested more than the later following two major reasons, efficiency and confidence.
Firstly, working just one project help people to use their abilities fully. As the society is getting complex and competitive, people are required to have a great working skill about project. There is no supervisor who makes his or her employees not to finish their projects. Therefore, people should finish their projects well by concentrating only on one project. For example, when I was the rooky year of LG, I tried to finish my projects at the same time. This is because I thought that was evidence about my ability. However, I could not contribute to everything and not complete a half of those projects; as a result my boss and branches was very disappointed to me. If I just saw only one thing, it would have not occurred. Therefore, it is hard for me to imagine handling multiple projects rather than doing one project.
Moreover, focusing on one project is not only to display less efficiency, but also to cause less confident. To illustrate this, it is well know that people are easy to lose their confident as they failed to their assignments. Thus, they have to devote their time and efforts to only one project until it would be finished. For example, during graduate school days, one of my lab mates was stamped on my memory. That is because he was really passionate and confident more than any other of my lab mates. Since he trusted himself too much, he did not refuse any work from my professor. To begin with, he could be done well but he loses self-confidence before long by too many projects. Unfortunately, it took a long time to regain his vigor. Therefore, I strongly suggest doing one project than to do multiple ones.
In summary, I am supposed to agree with the statement that doing one thing is better than doing many things, at once. It is because managing one project is not only more effective, but also keeping one’s confidence. |
