The reading passage discusses on the negative consequences of buzzers impact on the world. On the other hand, the lecturer argues that buzzers are trustworthy.
To begin with, the passage discusses on the perspective of the general public that buzzers are dishonest and receive money by deceiving their own personal preference on the products. However, the professor refutes to the passage’s assertion and claims that companies do not hire anyone, but instead, buzzers have to undergo several tests to examine whether they truly adore their products or not. He gives an example of himself, who was once a buzzer but not deceitful.
In addition, according to the reading passage, due to buzzers, people are less objective and critical of to the products. Yet, the lecturer maintains that buzzers do not influence people this way. He asserts that humans often ask many questions about new products, and unless they gain an answer they like, they would not buy them. Therefore, buzzers are only assisting the company to benefit in the sales.
Last but not least, the passage casts doubt that buzzers would induce everyone in the society to become suspicious of each other. However, the professor possesses an opposite view on this subject. Buzzers would instead have positive effects on the society through the word-of-mouth marketing. They would build trust because people get to learn more about good quality products. If buzzers were not of assistance in societal relationships, the companies would not hire them.
