It is controversial whether paying teachers unequally on the standard of the amount of their students' learning is desirable or not. Some people might say that it is negative for teachers to offer different pay depending on their students' learning. As for me, however, I believe that this seems to be a beneficial idea according to the following reasons.
First, by providing different wage on the basis of how much students' learn, the quality of education can be greatly improved. For most cases, teachers will want to be paid better and thus they will be motivated. Teachers will try harder to teach their students more. They will put a lot of effort to offer more profound knowledges and information which aren't essential for the standard school education. Consequently, the quality and contents of school classes will develop a lot in comparison with past and students will be provided with better education.
Second, paying teachers according to how much their students learn can also resolve the inequality in the amount of time they spend for teaching. For example, I was really shocked knowing that my math teacher had at least 5 up to 8 classes during entire 8 classes in the daily school schedule, whereas my music teacher had barely 2 classes in a day. The days when my math teacher had full schedule, I could easily notice that he was really getting exhausted from succesive classes. If teachers are paid according to the amount of their students' learning, teachers with many classes in a day like my math teacher can be rewarded for their efforts.
In conclusion, I agree with the idea that teachers should be paid depending on how much their students learn based on the reasons I mentioned above: Offering different pay according to the students' learning not only elevate the quality of education but also solve the problem of inequality in the amount of time spent on education between teachers.
