I heard of news about the concert of some independent rock bands. Also, as I've got my ears pierced recently, many kinds of beautiful earrings are viewed in my eyes everywhere. Both of them are my longings, but If I received a gift of money, I would buy a concert ticket. Because it turns my memory, not remaining itself and is less meaningful than jewelry.
First of all, people tend to consider jewelry as some symbol or meaning. Although it is not a ring meaning "I am a married person", basically people give earrings or bracelet as a somewhat special present. So, If I had a jewelry not having any meaning like this case - just buying with a gift and by myself-, I would consider it not important and forget.
On the other hand, if I went to a concert of my favorite rock bands, the experience would turn my good memory. I would remember just "The concert was really exciting and the bands were really great to see!". The important thing is the fact I went to the concert, not how I got the ticket.
Plus, I could be happy whenever I remind the memory, which could be a energy resource for me to be tired with the tedious daily routine. Imagine the exciting songs, people enjoying together, big applause and fever! It can be an obvious rescue from daily lives with just remembering.
In conclusion, if I got the gift of money, I would prefer a concert ticket than jewelry. It can be a wiser choice to go to an enjoyable concert than to buy a meaningless jewelry. It is even happy to just imagine a gift ticket! |
