It can be argued that a person should be able to do a lot of things partially, in some way, true, I still prefer specializing in a specific skill. It is my thought that we should have communication skills in terms of great socialization. By having a great socialization one can succeed in doing whatever tasks efficiently by requiring help from their co workers or bosses. Also, there are always quarrals between members of any working place. I belive, with good communication skills we can make working atmosphere more friendly, which will definetly better working achievements.
Actually, there are some people who think just doing the tasks they are appointed is the most important. They don't think group work is important. In opposition to this trend, I persist in the importance of group work. A good group work can result in synergy effect. To illustrate, we acknoledge that Real Madrid is definetly cosisted of world's best soccer players. However, Real Madird frequently have a lot of communication problems among each other. The players among them think they are the best and don't try to understand each other. In this sense, we see that communication skill between people is really important. In order to improve our communication skiils, I strongly suggest listening to each other more. Also, the members of a group should join each other in a specfic meeting rather than their working place. For instance, a party once a week.
Furthermore, as world is becoming nationalized, we feel a need to study foreign languages. I once thought the working skills, or content was the most important thing. Recognizing the importance of potentiality of abilty of forien human resources, I changed my mind. Nowadays, there are a lot of trade between many countries. Although, there are many countries that are full of resources, countries not having resources have to find their way through harsh world market. When trading with each countries, we need good communication among countries or companies. In a survey done by a universtiy indicates that there a lot of missunderstaning between companies by misinterpretation between companies. This survey is a good example showing wise decision. - Improving communication skiils.
There are a bunch of things that is important for our future career. There could be things such as volunteering work, the test score got from our undergraduate, and so on. However, as I stated above communication skiil comes first in my mind. Until, other skills such as volunteering work or GPA score can relieve stress better than communication skills, which is impossilbe, I will prefer learning to communicate with other people the most important thing. |
