Children try to be hard for their success such as studying, listening other person’s advice. They are suggestible by their classmates in school rather than parents do because there are many times to hang out with classmates. Besides, children accept classmate’s advice in the period children confront. Therefore, I agree that classmates have more influence on a child’s success in school than parents do.
To begin with, most children stay with their classmates rather than they stay in their home. Children’s daily schedule is that going to school, taking lectures, joining club or volunteering and so on. Especially in case of Korean students, they usually go to various academies after they finish their school. They got home late night, so it is hard for them to get parent’s encouragement and communicate each other. Furthermore, classmates have much time to help their friends even when they are chatting in school.
In addition, since children are adolescence, their behaviors are dependent on their classmates and they little listen to parent’s saying. As their periodical thinking and behavior, they are not likely to absorb parent’s saying. For example, I had an adolescence period when I am a middle school student. I thought that my parents never give any counsel and saying of my classmates is always correct when I buy clothes or study. Besides, I thought that classmates have practical and similar experiments compared with my experiments. As a result, their influence usually has good effects on deciding my future.
In summary, children’s success is likely to be influenced on their classmates than parents do. They usually have routine life with their classmates and the time children encounter makes children reject parent’s behavior. In hard and laborious period, I could share my thinking with my classmates eventually I could succeed at least in mature of my thinking thanks to my classmates. |
