Some
people might say that it is better to solve problems with other people
cooperatively because we could conclude the best decision by sharing each
person’s different idea. However, I am against this stance because it is quite
ineffective and sometimes impossible. I’ll present my reasons below more specifically.
To
begin with, in order to solve problems, we have to determine one idea but it
takes a long time to reach a certain conclusion. This is because it is
difficult to determine whose idea is the best. Each opinion has its own value,
so that we must spend lots of time. Also we have to check whether each idea is
come from believable source or not. In many cases, when we face some problems,
we must make a decision within a limited time. Accordingly, we would have to
spend too much time considering these whole things.
But,
even assuming the above is plausible, some may argue that by taking other
people’s opinion, we could definitely reach a better decision because we can
have many good choices. They contend that the idea come from on my own could be
quite intolerant. Yet, I still put on emphasis on my idea because there is one
more important matter to consider.
We
can have necessary information needed to solve our problem by accessing the Internet without other people's help. This is because there
are many materials and ideas helpful for us. Also, even though
the problem we have is quite difficult to tell other people, we could easily
find many other people’s approach to the problem similar to our one in the Internet
space. To illustrate this point, when I was a high school student, a friend of
mine was suffering from his classmates because they always bother, mock and
torment him just for fun. Even though he did not tell anyone about this
situation, he could solve the problem by using the online counseling institution
which was the specialized institution in helping people like him. It implies that
it is possible to solve our secrete problems by going online because there is
enough information useful to solve our problems on our own.
To
sum up, everyone may hold a different position on this issue. Yet, all things
considered, I firmly believe that it is better to solve problems on our own.
This is because, asking other people for advice is quite time-consuming and we
can have the information we need in the Internet for oneself. |
