These days, materialism widely spreads in the world. So, most people think that earning a large amount of money is the first condition for being success because many prominent like Warren Buffet and Bill Gates already earns lots of money. However, in my point of view, only people earning huge money are not successful. That’s because other factors such as achievements and honor are estimated to the conditions of success.
First of all, unlike common views, some people were estimated into the successful person by his/her achievements. Let’s see Emily Dickinson. She is famous poet in the United States. She expressed uncommon descriptions which did not accepted to publics through her poets. Thus, in spite of not sufficient income, he tried to do her best to create his innovative poet. As a result, at the posterity his creative achievements were respected from many scholars and publics and also publics think that she is one of the successful people. This perspective shows that the successful condition is not only the material level.
Another example is that Gandhi was spiritual leader in India. He fought unlawful power for getting independence. So, he drove the mass civil disobedience for civil rights. As a results, India gained independence from tyranny. So, He is officially honored officially in India as Father of the Nation. His trials and fame make him be a successful man. Thus, money is not absolute factor for achieving success.
In brief, because of expanding materialistic, money is essential factor to be a successful man. However, the aforementioned examples present well that achievements and honors are one of the main factors for evaluating a successful person. |
