There is an ongoing debate whether students can acquire more information and learn it more quickly than before with the aid of technology. Some people might say that rather technological development
deter students from learning more information. However, on the contrary to this notion, I strongly believe that students can learn lots of information and acquire it more quickly today.
To begin with, the advances in technology enable students to acquire much of information.
The invention of a computer, in particular, sparkled the situation. For instance, many university students use computers when they need various information. The reason why they use computers is that they can find out what they need to know in their home with ease just by clicking a mouse button on a widely used website like the Google.
In addition, technology precipitates the transfer of information that leads to faster obtaining of information for students. Before the invention of a television, most people got information by reading newspaers on what events occured in their countries and the world. This way of learning information just represented past contents and sometimes this information turned out to be useless. However, today we are able to know whatever news in a very fast time. To illustrate, we can see the war between rivaly countries on television on a daily basis. Such a way, students can learn information more instantly today.
To sum up, I firmly argue that the technological advances not only provide students with more information but also enable them to acquire information more fast. Technology becomes an more important precipitate for students to grab a great of information faster than before. |
