People have different ideas about whether there is correlation between success and luck. However, I basically disagree with the given statement because success is result of blood-and-teers effort and success is achieved by a person who is prepared.
First of all, considering a career as key factor of success, one have to be more competitive in their field. As a matter of fact, as society is getting more complex and competition-oriented, Many companies require those who are more outstanding in their field. If someone is so lucky that he get a good career, it is difficult to survive in their field. Forexample, when my cousin got a good career without ability to do for that job, he couldn't do well in career life. thus he was banned from a company. From this experience, I found that luck was not important for success.
Secondly, success is achieved by a person who is prepared. As a matter of fact, people today have many opportunities to be successful. Despite someone is very so lcuky that he have many opportunity, he has to compete with the lucky. Accordingly, those who is prepared can achieve their goal. Forexample, when I was so lucky that I have many opportunities to be successful. But there was too much competition among the lucky. Therefore, in competiton-oriented society, people have no choice but be prepared for success.
To sum up, I strongly oppose the perspective that success are connected with luck. This is because success is result of efforts and success is achieved by a person who is prepared
