I totally agree that being happy with a job outweighs having a high salary.
What is the purpose of a job?
According to dictionary, a job is a earning activity to sustain our life, which means a job is absolutely related to money. There are no such men or women who want to work without being paid. But we have to consider we work only for money.
Speaking of the benefits of a job, first of all, a job provides us with a sense of belonging. we, human, are socail animal. We have a want of belonging. secondly, a job endows us with reputation or socail status in a society. Having a job, we feel we do something for a society.
Therefore we should not equal a job to money.
Now, think of being happy with a job. Being happy with a job means being satisified with a job. If we are dissatisifed with our job, personally we feel pressure. The time we spend in a job is much more than that for anything else. If we cannot find happiness or contentment in a job, we are unhappy in most of our life. Also for society, dissatifaction in a job takes the toll of inefficiency. For example when i was in the army, i didn't find a good point in my job. I just got lazy not to do my best and just to spend the times.
On the contrary, someone who love his job or like his company make a use of his ability to improve what he take a charge of, which can raise addintional pay in return.
In conclusion, being happy with a job cause personal happiness, social benefit and finally high salary. We have to keep in mind a job is more than just money
