When it comes to traveling, some people assert that traveling alone, and not making a group, will lead to improve their challenging ability by experiencing a lot of situations by themselves. Personally, however, I think that people should not travel alone for two reasons. First, people can be in a danger. Next, people can not only obtain prompt and accurate information from a tour guide but also save time.
Above all, people might be in peril when they encounter with unsafe situations. In the case of traveling alone, people can avoid conflicts of opinions with others during making decisions process such as the question which direction correct is. However, with the lack of information, people tend to depend on unfamiliar people who could be strangers and gangs. In this sense, being in a group with a dependable guide is of great benefit to avoid bad situations. For example, in my case, I used to traveling alone without being any others. When I traveled to Spain in Europe alone,(유럽은 쓸 필요없을 것같네요 ^^) I am involved in bad situation that I lost my passport in passing through a border from Spain to France. At that time, I was in too panic to speak in English and a security wasn't good at speaking English as well. Thus, they misunderstood me as a stranger and I stayed in the inspection department for a half of the day. Fortunately, I could contact with a diplomatic officer and tasted thrilling freedom by being released. Had I not traveled alone, I could have avoided the bad situations. Therefore, traveling by oneself sometimes leads people to be in unsecure.
Besides, people can save time and acquire the significant information. These days, people are greatly exposed to innumerable pieces of information and news. Thus, they might not be able to tell which information and news is reliable and unbiased. In this sense, when you ask a historical monument or artwork, inquiring to a tour guide who is expertise an expert is the best way. Accordingly, it enables tourists to find out and eliminate such prejudiced news and biased information in touring. According to a study recently released by the Korean National Research Group, more than two-thirds of the surveyed executives mentioned that they do not travel solely because doing so needs much preparation for the information such as the best way, historical meanings and necessary items in advance. In this sense, I can argue be argued that the best way to travel for busy and hectic people can be obtained only with a tour guide.
In conclusion, I think people had better traveling with a group and guide. They are less likely to get involved with bad situations. And also they can save time and obtain more precise and specific information. Given this, it is quite obvious that traveling should be conducted with a group led by a tour guide. |
