I presume that playing sports at a young age has lots of advantages and disadvantages at the same time. There are lots of students that start sports at a young age and these are the advantages and disadvantages of starting sports at a early age.
Advantages of playing sports at a young age is that you can be healthy and be able to investigate in your talent. As a child, you need a lot of exercise. It is the time when you grow taller by exercising. When you do not exercise, you will gain weight as a child and be over-weighted. If you get fatter, it is very hard to loose weight as you grow older. Exercising as a child is good for your health and helps you maintain good body. Also, it gives you a chance to investigate in yourself by trying different sports. By doing that you can find out your talent and keep working on it until you get older.
Disadvantages of playing sports at a young age is that you will loose interest in school work. If you start getting into the sport you love, you will not be able to learn the things you need to know as a student. You will also only be into the sports and start giving up in school work. Your grades will slowly go down, and eventually you will not succeed in school. You will not have a chance to go to good high school and college.
As I student, I think that there are lots of advantages and disadvantages of playing sports at a young age, and that it is their own choice to start at a young age or not. If you love sport and you are talented, I believe that you have to play sports, but on the other hand, if you are not I presume that you do not have to play sports. Depending on their own interest, they can choose to start sports at a young age or later, but I firmly believe that playing sports have many advantages and disadvantages. |
