Some people prefer attending a concert to buy a piece of jewelry because of fun. ←
Frankly I really like to go to a concert but I think that it is more valuable that buying a piece of jewelry than buying a concert ticket. I think, I guess, In my opinion
it is more valuable that buying a piece of jewelry than buying a concert ticket.
→ Buying a concert ticket is (a lot) better than buying a piece of jewelry.
There are two main reasons. One is pertinency of jewelry. ←
The other is that jewelry is portable.
First of all, jewelry is pertinent ← '지속한다' 라는 의미를 쓰신게 아닌가...
whereas a concert is over when it overs. What I mean is, If you want to possess a jewelry forever, totally you can. It is very meaningful to someone. For example, when I was twenty, my mother gave me a golden ring. It meant she admit treated me as an adult. It still shines on my finger and its meaning always keeps in my mind. In some cases, you may want to respect intent of giver and you want to keep the present. We all know money or concert can't be forever. However jewelry can be constant.
Besides, most jewelries are portable. For instance, a ring or necklace can be with you always. So because all the time you and jewelry is together, meaning of gift will not fade away. According to one survey, many people want to receive a piece of jewelry as a gift. The reason is they can carry the jewelry anytime. Of course you may think that it's different receiving jewelry from buying jewelry for money you received. However consequence is same.
Therefore, I prefer buying a piece of jewelry to buying a concert ticket. If you want to remember gift's meaning or celebrate something, jewelry is more suitable. We can choose one thing. It is depend upon the meaning of the money you received. I'm strongly convinced that jewelry remind you of meaning of gift.
'가난은 사람들에게 고통을 준다' 라고 하면 'Poverty gives people a pain' 쓰지요
