People having pets as their family member is a good thing, I believe. Only if people get comfort from having those pets around them, I think there is nothing wrong with having them around you as a membeer of your family.
For example, there might be a pet that you really love. They might give you comfort just by staying with you, and playing with you. Just because they are animals, it does not mean that they are someone that you can not rely on. They have feeling just like us, and maybe they can understand our feeling from the bottom of their heart, just by looking in our eyes. If you live alone with your family members being away from you, you will definitely feel lonely. But, when you have a pet with you to play with you or to comfort you, it can help you by a lot. When you have something that you want to tell others, you can communicate with your pet believing that your pet will understand you. After saying things that disturbed you, you will feel way better. Comforting and loving each other is what family members do for you, and pets can do the same things too.
Pets might be something that you really love. It might be a great joy to just to see a bird flying in front of you, or rabbits jumping. Living with them for a long time will make your relationship with pets very special. You will have good memories with them and things that make you think about your pets everyday. For example, I had a neighbor who loves cats. They are what give her joy. She goes everywhere with the cats she love. When she is around the cats, she always smiles. She has no family members, due to their death. However, she is still happy to live with the little cats she has. She thinks them as a human and her daughter. As a neighbor, it is a real joy to see her smiling and laughing with the little unusual daughters. After seeing her, I learned that pets can be special members of your life too.
I believe that pets can be a special member of your family. Having pets as a daughter, son, or a brother is nothing wrong. They are a creature that can give you joy in your life, and that is all that matters. |
