As far as I am concerned, students have been discussing why many people visit museums when they travel to new places or other countries. Generally speaking, museum is where possesses a lot of valuable materials and display them. From my point of view, I think people want to see or observe the new materials or want to experience other cultures which also include other museums. There are some instances to support my opinion.
First and foremost, the primary reason many people visit different museums during they are traveling new places is that most people have curious about other countries. They want to know or need to know what are different from their own country. That is why some people travel to other new places, but others are not. Its tendency connects to the reason why people go to see the other museums. For example, as they visit the museums in other countries, they get a new conception about other properties. They may have no enough knowledge or thought of other countries possession. However, the museums provide people with a various information or imagination to inform their own culture or civilization.
Secondly, this can also be important reason to realize this issue. Nowadays, what we are seeing increasingly is that people study about other country, such as religions, cultures, histories and so on. In this case, they can easily find what they want in the museums, but they need to choose an apt type of museum for their purpose. Studying other history is displayed in a variety of museums. From my experience, when I visited to the Japan, I also visited Japanese museums not only one but also more than one. The reason for this, I was taking the history of the Japanese class. So I thought visiting their museums would be useful to learn more than nothing. Actually, that experience was very helpful to study of Japanese culture.
In conclusion, although everyone may hold a different thought about this statement, I think that its reasons are simple; one, people want to experience other countries’ cultures or else. Two, as museums provide people with their own precious possessions, people prefer to study their cultures by visiting or observing. |
