Children do a lot of practicing sports such as gymnestic, soccer, and basketball. These sports are good for children since they can improve their physical abilities as well as developing their social abilities. However, there are also several pros in the activities.
As children have sport activities, children grow many good skills. Firstly, they can improve their physical abilities by the sports. Children's bodies are growing so they have many possibilities of developing their parts of bodies. For instance, they can be taller by playing basketball since jumping while playing it makes their bones grow fast. From running, they intensify their respiratory abilities as their lung and heart get used to beating fast and taking more breath at once. They can also make their muscles much stronger because their muscles are threadlike. Therefore, their muscle can make bigger culture with repeating chopping and reproducing. Besides, they learn social skills from sport activities. Some sports such as soccer and base ball require team-work or corporations. Thus, they learn how to help them each other through these sports.
In contrast, sport activities give negative effects to children. The result of spending most of their time on practice sports leads them to get more injured. On playing sports, there are many incidents or big accidents occurred: fraction, bruises, and breaking vulnerable parts of their bodies like brain or eyes. What is more, they might spend too much time on the sports to concentrate on their study. Most children whose ages are 6 to 20 study their school, and they take a test every semester of their course. Yet, if they were distracted by doing sports too much, they would get poor score in their test. Therefore, they have a serious problem in their future due to the poor score.
All in all, children do many practical sports in their lives. Although, these sports are good for children since they can improve various skills which are important their health and social lives, there are also some disadvantages which could be critical for them like injuries and less concentration of their study. So, as all these situations are concerned, children need their self-control for adjusting their time to spend on doing practicing sports. |
