My country of
president, Lee myeng-pack prefers destroying historic buildings and building
modern one to preserving them. According to him, the industry of
construction would be improved and this helps us to vitalize our business. However,
I strongly disagree with him. We have to preserve historic buildings in that we
make much money from foreigners as travel industry and we have duty to preserve
them for descendants.

much money. These days, we have lived third industry of service, not second
industry of manufacturing. Culture-travel industry is one of third industry and
it is high value-added one.
According to a recently study by Europe United, the first reason of visiting
Secondly, we have duty to preserve historic buildings. Relics
of history are so important that we could not debate whether destroying them or
not according to business of logic. We have to preserve them for a descendant. Role of UNESCO is to do this. Nobody disagree
with the role of UNESCO and we naturally have regarded the preserving historic buildings
as good things and part of duty.
To conclude, we ought to preserve historical buildings in
that view points of business and non-business. A viewpoint of business is for
improving travel industry and a viewpoint of non-business is for duty.
