Some people think that it is no advantage for a company to make
advertisements and promote them. However, in my opinion, advertising is not
just a waste even but useful equipment for a corporation, as
can be seen, improved companies’ images by investing their
advertisements and presentations as well as raised the number of purchases for the advertised companies.
To begin with, companies could use advertisements to make better
their images. As we have heard, a company’s images do not mean just images but a
great strategy to uplift their sales. Furthermore, it could determine even a
company’s life, live or die, and many current corporations know the fact
well. Therefore, they endeavor to make excellent advertisements to appeal to their customers. Take the example of an ordinary Korean kimchi
manufacturer which had been the best seller in their field. However, their
destiny completely was changed by trivial mistakes. One of their executives
made harassments to their employees. The issue was reported by news and
television. Consequently, the manufacturer could not help but suffering fails in business because customers’ inclination could be altered by small
causes. This case reveals the importance of one’s images in their business and this
could be raised by well-made advertisements.
On top of that, outstanding and well-exposed promotions can
directly give a positive effect on the amount of
purchase. Since people tend to buy the products which they are exposed,
advertisements would positively influence on the revenues of
corporations. This can be a primary reason for why most corporations still fund
on television advertisements and so on. According to a recent study conducted
by the Korean CEO association, people are
usually apt to make a purchase for the corporation which they most watch on
television, newspaper, and radio. During the researching, researchers compared
two groups. One group consisted of people who were exposed by a particular
company’s newspaper advertisements and the other group was comprised of
people who watched diverse corporations’ advertisements including the
particular company in the former. What they found was intriguing. The number of sales from the former was almost 5
times higher than the latter’s result. As the study show, we can
know the priority of advertisements for companies.
