▶ Your Answer : Some people might say that complaining in writing is more convenient. However, in my opinion, complaining in person has a lot of advantages. There are two reason. First, talking about my unsatisfaction in person is the most effective way to complain. Second, people can find out other solutions easily. To begin with, only when my unsatisfaction is transferred directly, we can say our thought exactly. If people transfer their thought incorrectly, problems can be getting more deteriorated. Accurate communications are important in the current world. I will give an example of myself. Last year, I went on a trip to Hawaii for my vacation. At that time, there were some problems with my bathroom in a hotel. And I requested to be fixed in writing on my way out. After entering my room at night, I checked my request. However, those problems did not fixed. Eventually, we should change our room. If I had asked in person, it would have been repaired correctly. On top of that, when people have a chance to meet and talk to a person who made some problems, they can understand the situation and find good solutions. However, if people complain in writing, it is not easy to know expect how long does it takes or what is the reason. For instance, there was a survey conducted by education majors, with 220 workers as respondents. The purpose was to understand their thought that when they have to complain about some problems, which ways they prefer. A majority of them said that complaining in writing is more convenient and no burden. However, over 96% of them stressed that this way should be spent more time solving problems. Also, they emphasized that if they had complained in person, they could have know the situation and found some good solutions. To sum up, when it comes to complaining about some problems, expressing one’s thought directly is more helpful. Taking saying exactly and finding good solutions into consideration, I firmly believe that to complain in person is a better option.
