▶ Your Answer : There are differing opinions on the whether children should take the art and music as mandatory course at the school. Some people say that it is necessary that students take the subjects for some benefits but others say that it is disagreeable. For me, myself, I firmly believe that take the music and art should be subjected as the mandatory course for the students since it gives the students much more positive results than if it is not.
First of all, with the providing chances of learning about music and art at the school, students who cannot afford the instruction because of their parents financial problems, are able to have fair opportunity of experiencing the subjects. To be more specific, typically the subjects, music and art, need extra instrument for learning, such as piano, violin or guitar for music and canvas, oil paining and some space for art. Considering the basic needed coditions for learning the subjects, it is hard to access the subjects who are not economically affordable for it. From my experience, I was middle school students, the public school I attending served music class for mandatory subject. At that time my parents could not afford music lesson for me. Thus the course at the school relieved my eager for musical experience. The public mandatory course functioned in a positive way for me.
Secondly, these days most of students get stress from their scholarstic pressure and it is mainly from major subjects such as Mathmatics, Science and English. However, with music and art classes they are able to reduce the stress. For me, I enjoyed art classes at the high school since during the time I was able to concentrate on drawing and painting and after finishinig the class I could feel the recharged energy and satisfaction from the results. And statistically students who have the time with music and art while under pressure, much better at their school life.
In conclusion, it is controversial issue that making the coures, music and art, as mandatory because it has pros and cons. But I strongly insist that having the subjects at the school as regular course gives equal chance to students for learning opportunity of the subjects and students can have the time for refreshing themself from the stress. |
