▶ Your Answer : Some
people say that a teacher’s earning should not be based on student’s
performance. However, I agree with the statement for a couple of reasons: the
good teacher makes students with good performance and teacher will put more
effort to earn more income. To start off, when the students make a
splendid performance, they usually have good teachers. This is because, the
skillful teachers are accustomed to controlling students. For example, when I
was in high school as a freshman, I used to smoke. Nevertheless, my homeroom
teacher did not care about it at all that leads me in bad way. On the other
hand, when I became a sophomore, my homeroom teacher had deep interest on her
student. Hence, she cared me a lot and I finally could start focus on study and
quit smoking. By having good teacher, the students can have good performance.
Thus, the teacher’s earning should be based on their student’s performance. Second of all, if teacher’s income is
based on student’s outcome, the teacher will do their best for their class. The
reason is that not all teachers are doing their best to the class since they
have no difference in earning even though they work harder than others. For
instance, when I was working in the Chinese language institute, I was trying my
best to lead my students. However, the other teachers were just teaching
briefly. As a result, I felt that was so unfair that we receive same money and
I started to be procrastinated. In addition, if they start to give salary based
on student’s performance, it will bring about positive competition between
teacher for having good students. Since, they will try to get students with
good ability, there will be good completion between teachers as well as
students.
To sum up, I strongly argue that a
teacher’s earning should be appropriated by student’s performance for the
following two reasons that are the skilled teacher make skilled students and
the class will be with more effort of teacher. |
