▶ Your Answer :
Some
people think that universities ought to spend more money on libraries
than on sports facilities. However, in my opinion, infrastructures
for sports are fully worthwhile to be invested on. This is because
students can easily relieve their stress by playing sports, and they
can improve their physical power which is helpful to complete their
tasks.
To
begin with, it is easy to eliminate stress through sports. Students
get stressed out while (during과 while의 차이점 숙지가 필요합니다) studying with ease due to a lot of homework
and many conflicts with their colleagues. In such cases, they can get
rid of stress and are able to obtain a driving force to put more
effort into their works by sports. For example, a poll was conducted
by the Department of Education in Seoul National University with 500
college students in Korea as respondents. The main purpose of the
survey was to understand the consensus view about the most efficient
way to escape stress. As a result, the majority of the respondents
claimed that playing diverse sports such as the soccer, baseball, and
basketball is the most effective method. In detail, an overwhelming
62 percent had replied that they usually go to the gym in their
school to forget their burden and to be refreshed while enjoying
sports games with their friends. This was because any student can
easily get access to sports facilities, and it is highly cheap to
relish such experiences. The result of this survey plainly
demonstrates that installing sports infrastructures in universities
can be conducive to the enhancement of students’ performance.
On
top of that, sports can help students improve their stamina. No one
might cast doubts on the fact that studying hard needs good physical
conditions, because a long attention span is required for
accomplishing a task which needs a great deal of time. Not only are
students able to strengthen their bodies through the addition of
sports infrastructures, but they can also obtain better concentration
skills, which are vital to achieving greater outcomes. For instance,
I was very weak when I was a high school student, because I did not
invest much time on working out. Although I spent almost twelve (아라비아 숫자 사용을 지양해주세요.) hours a
day on learning, I could not understand what I studied well since I was not
capable of focusing on my tasks for a long time. After entering a
university, I decided to run on a treadmill every night. Even if I
used less time in studying than when I had attended a high school, I
acquired better scores while at a university. This was mainly due to
the improved attention span, which is attributed to my better
stamina. My experience proves that universities are able to
anticipate a similar result in students’ academic achievements
to that when they invested much more money on the libraries.
To
sum up, sports have students be free from stress and be ready for arduous works by equipping them with better body conditions. It is
evident that these points help them study effectively and
efficiently. In this regard, I firmly believe that it is preferable
for universities to spend a comparable amount of money on sports
facilities rather than focusing only on the libraries. |
