▶ Your Answer :A lot of people may think that it is better
reading books in free time rather than playing sport since it is more
educational. However, on the contrary to this idea, it is convinced that joining
sports in your free time can be more beneficial than just reading books. This is
because you can get strong relationship and better academic performance. Firstly,
you can build strong relationships when you join in sports which require many
people. This is because team sports need teamwork, which helps you to become
closer to team member. Also, strong bond generated during sports can be of big
help in your successful life. The meaning of success has changed over time. If it
was merely focusing on one’s own way and excelling others, now it is different.
Along with your own ability, it is crucial to have people who can lend a hand
when you are in trouble. In this sense, joining in sports can be helpful. This can
be illustrated by my personal experience. When I was in college, I was the member
of soccer club in college. Thus, I could broaden my human relationships. When I
had hard time finding my job , team members in the club gave me hands by giving
advice and information about job. As a result I could get my job successfully.
Secondly,
it is possible to enhance your academic performance by participating in sports.
Playing sports enables you to concentrate more on study. This is because hormone
generated during playing sports stimulates movements of brain. As a result, it
can bring about better academic performance. A study has showed this. According
to the ministry of education in Korea, students in group A, who play sports
everyday showed much higher scores in school test than those in group B , who have
no interest in playing sports. The contributing factor to this was difference in
the ability to concentrate on study between group A and B. sports must have had
a great influence on brain to being actively.
To sum
up, you can generate strong bonds and better school test scores by participating
in sports. In this regard, I disagree with a statement that playing sports is a
waste of time. |
