▶ Your Answer : Some people think teenagers are more influenced by their friends than anyone else. In my opinion, however, teenagers are not more affected by their friends but by their family and celebrities. To begin with, family members play a more important role in teenagers' growth than their friends. Their mentality usually depends on their family circumstances. For example, one of my friends, named Yun-ho, attended a high school that students were likely to have delinquent behaviors and he was exposed to be easy to learn bad things from his peers. Yet, he had been fully loved by his family and as a result got high self-esteemed so he was able to keep from doing bad things though peers sometimes scorned him. Eventually, he could graduate the high school successfully and entered a good university. On top of that, teenagers also more susceptible to be influenced by celebrities than their friends. Many boys and girls are highly interested in a boy-band like BTS and they are likely to accept what the celebrities say. For instance, one of comedian in Korea, name Ji-sun, was a big fan of H.O.T who were the most popular boy-band 20 years ago. During their concert, one of them said to their fans that you guys had not to only come to watch us but to also study hard. She began to study hard after she heard about that the man said. Consequently, she entered Seoul national university, which is the best university in Korea. To sum up, family members have a crucial role in forming teenagers'characters and celebrities' influence is stronger than friends' In this regard, I strongly believe that teenagers are more affected by their family members and celebrities than their friends.
