Some people think that parents should set strict rules for their children if they want them to succeed in life. Others think that strict rules are not necessary for children to obtain success. Which do you prefer? Some people think that parents should set some rules to lead their children to achieve success, while others do not. However, from my point of view, following well-organized rules has greatly positive merits from childhood. I feel this way for two main reasons, which I will explore in the following essay. First and foremost, children can cultivate critical aspects needed for success by following rules that parents set. Even so the rules are going to be quite strict for children, it would be helpful them eventually in being matured by abiding by rules, managing their time, and even respecting others. To illustrate, Kim, who is one of the most effective business people in South Korea, is known to be grown up with rigid mother. By the book written by Kim, his mother always keep him to follow the daily schedule from five years old. He had no choice but to read a book a week and also spent time for sports with his family member almost every day and participated in house chores as well. He ascribed this success in the business world to his rigour mother along with rules by her.
What is more compelling ground is that children could be able to spend time more effectively with strict rules. When one is good at time management, he or she will be easier to learn a lot of assets which is required to be successful. Since young age children are not selective in their lives such as what should they do next, so, following by systemic rules is greatly beneficial in of pursuing success. This means that they are more likely to act impulsive and easily waste their time meaningless without rules. My own experience is a compelling example of this. When I was eight years old, I always got acted on impulse, distracted easily with the study. One day, my parents set strict time table for me to follow every day to revise my unorganized these habits. I had changed little by little with time after living with planned activities such as studying at a specific time and taking lessons for improving sports and even spending my free time more pleasurable. Thus, it is legitimate to say that giving strict rules young children is a desirable way to ensure them to succeed. In conclusion, even though exorbitant rules restrict children’s pastimes, it would be beneficial to children in that they can foster important qualities needed for success and it allows children to optimize spending time this way. In this regard, I firmly believe that organized rules encourage youngsters to be successful in their lives. |
