▶ Your Answer :
It
is debatable whether children need to spend their time doing whatever they
choose to do or doing homework or participating in organized activities related
with their school work. This is an intriguing question because opinions
concerning this issue can be different depending on the individual
perspectives. In my opinion, however, I support that children should spend
their time freely. For the following reasons.
First
of all, doing what children want accompanies an important educational process.
To be specific, developing the power of choice creates opportunities for
children to learn ordering of priority, which as a result allows people to
obtain valuable information, stay ahead, and attain personal growth. People
need to be educated throughout their lives because education is the most
powerful weapon that they can use to change the world. For example, when I was
younger, my elementary teacher gave me a choice. Thanks to her I was able to
develop the power of thinking and as a result, I have made a choice so far
without regret for anything. These were the choices that I couldn’t make with
narrow-minded thinking, and her teaching resulted in great help to me. Hence, this shows that children must choice
what they want to do.
Also,
children should avoid doing homework or participating in organized activities
related with children’s school work or sports because it leads to added stress
levels. To be specific, doing what they not want accompanies a stressful
process, which hinders children from building a quality life. Stress is the
main cause of disease and dissatisfying life. Therefore, people in modern
society should actively find ways to reduce stress and stay healthy. For
example, when I was younger, I was very stressful because of my high school
teacher. I hated dancing very much, but my high school homeroom teacher made me
do my homework to film video of dancing. I was really stressed out, and it had
hindered me from studying for the college entrance exam. Through this
experience, I realized that people should avoid doing homework that they do not
want. Hence, this shows that it is better for children to choose what they want
to do than what they do not in order to lead a healthy and fulfilling life.
In
conclusion, I firmly believe that children have to doing what they want to do
because this is the most effective education and can relieve stress. All things
considered, it is my belief that my argument regarding this topic has been
effectively and precisely delivered with the reasons mentioned above.
