▶ Your Answer :
It is debatable whether a teacher’s ability to get along with
students is more beneficial than the ability to give knowledge. This is an
intriguing question because opinion concerning this issue can be different
depending on the individual perspectives. In my opinion, however, I support
that a teacher’s capacity to socialize with students is more significant than
the capacity to provide knowledge for the following reasons.
First of all, it is more beneficial for students to get along with
teacher than to gain knowledge from teacher because it helps students to
broaden their perspectives. To be specific, talking with teacher allows
students to better understand other cultures, lifestyle, and thoughts. As
modern society is becoming increasingly globalized, today’s world requires
people with international views. People can do this by sharing ideas and
communicating with teacher who is a senior in life. To illustrate, when I was
in high school, my homeroom teacher used to tell us various stories that were
not related to class. Through this experience, I could build a lot of
background knowledge, and it is still very helpful to me beyond academic
knowledge. My teacher had a positive influence on my class through his
capability to get along with students.
In
addition, an ability that socializing with students is advantageous than which
serving knowledge because it helps students to build a close relationship with
teacher. To be specific, getting along with teacher creates opportunities to
form a good personal network. Building this relationship is eventually helpful
later on. For example, Korean figure skater Kim Yu-na has made great
accomplishments in her lifetime. I read online that she was very successful because
she was able to build meaningful relationship with her coach. She did this by
communicating her thoughts and connecting her feelings with teacher.
In conclusion, I firmly believe that it is better to have the power which being on intimate terms with students than to
have the power which just providing knowledge. All things considered, it is my
belief that my argument regarding this topic has been effectively and precisely
delivered with the reasons mentioned above.
