▶ Your Answer :
Some people think that classmates have a bigger effect on a
student’s academic achievement than teachers, while others do not think.
Both sides have their own reasons to support their views. If I had to choose
one, I would say that a student’s academic achievement
draws on their teachers.
First of all, teachers can afford their academic knowledge to their
students. Teachers are the best expert in their subject field. If students have
some questions when they are studying, they are able to get a solution from
teachers. A study conducted by the Korea Ministry of Education is a good
example of this. An Overwhelming 75% had responded that the most outstanding
leaning way to improve school performance is that to ask questions to their
teachers. This survey demonstrates student’s academic achievement has impacted
in their teachers.
On top of that, teachers enable students to give advice about learning skills.
High academic performances are related to many things such as focusing ability;
do not distracted by circumstances and take exams without nervous. Teachers have gone through a number of students and
valuable experiences to handle problems. From my experience to illustrate this,
when I was in high school, I was struggling in taking exams without mistakes. I
often felt so nervous whenever I took math exams, I was not able to get higher
scores that I could achieve. My math teacher gave me some advice to be calmly during
exams which taking practice test in some circumstance in advance before real exam. Eventually, I improved my
scores with this practice. Without his advice, I would not have got a good
grade in math.
In conclusion, students could achieve their academic performance with help
from their teachers by getting knowledge and advice. Consequently, the importance
of my view cannot be underestimated for the reasons for the reasons I have
mentioned above.
