▶ Your Answer : There might be some people who believe that the young should engage in jobs diffrent from those of parents. However, I personally disagree with the above idea for the following two subsequent reasons.
To begin with, parents can support them to get and sustain jobs. To be specific, young people can learn how they can get their jobs and do works from their parents. Since parents are specialized at their own fields, they can provide a lot of useful information to their children. For example, I talk about my friend experience to illustrate this point. When I was in high school, I could not decide what he should do in future while my friend Tom had decied it. As Tom's father was a lawyer, he made up his mind to be a lawyer. Finally, he passed the bar exam, and he is now a sucessful lawyer in a lawfirm that his father is running. From this experience, I realized that a certain field which parents are eagaged in can be helpful for deciding their jobs.
On top of that, young people can do better in the same field their parents are working. To explain, genetic reasons should be considered to decide what they do for living. Success parents have made shows that their children also can make an achievement at the same field. A study was conducted by the Seoul National University in 2010 to determine whether genetic components could affect people's aptitude. There were two groups monitored. The first group was formed of 100 people who were doing the same jobs with their parents. The other group consisted of 100 people who were not. The researchers compated the outcomes. The former was likely to be more successful in their field than the latter by 49%. The latter failed relatively, and even changed jobs that their parents were doing, became successful. This study demonstrates that people are susceptible to genetic reasons for choosing and doing jobs.
In this regard, I fimly believe that young people ought to engage in jobs that their parents are doing. |
