▶ Your Answer :
Some people believe that memorizing truths
is more crucial. There are obviously many opinions regarding this topic, but it
is clear that understanding ideas is more beneficial. The Concepts of grades
and the job market clearly show this theme.
First of all, studying concepts enables
students to save time. This is mainly because they do not have to spend time to remain the answer when they prepare some exams such as mathematics and
physics. Consequently, they are able to spend more time to prepare the other subjects
or sleep. This means they can have more chances to get a good grade. From my
experience, when I was in high school, I had to take three exams a day. There
were too many things that I had to study due to the general scope of physics.
Thus, I decided to understand concepts in physics instead of memorizing the
answers. After all, I reduced the time to study it and could prepare the others
for the rest time. Eventually, I could get good grades in those subjects. This
was because I focused on figure out concepts in physics rather than just
keeping in answers.
In
addition, just maintaining the facts is meaningless. This is due to the fact,
compared to catching concepts, students can have the information that they need
anytime and anywhere through computers. This means the facts are always on
their hand. On the other hand, combining two or three concepts cannot be found
by computers. As modern society has become increasingly specialized, today's
companies are looking for employees having this quality. Therefore,
understanding concepts is a sure way to fight in a highly competitive job market.
For example. my father, the CEO of a company in Korea, often tells me that job
interview typically precedes hiring decision. He and other interviewers at the
interview look at the applicants' passion and the ability to connect
distinguished concepts. Therefore, having time to understanding concepts is
important for students to prepare in the future.
In
conclusion, many people claim that studying facts has more advantages.
Nevertheless, it seems to me that finding out ideas has much more profits. The
examples of exams and preparation for the future support the argument. |
