▶ Your Answer :
There are some people who think that going
to museums is the best way to get to know a country. However, I think that
there are plenty of other ways to learn about a country than museums. There are
two main reasons. First, people can learn about a country more efficiently from
other people. Second, people can get more detail information from other
sources.
To begin with, people can learn about a
country from other people. Simply people can make a conversation to learn about
it. As a rule of thumb, for example, when I traveled to Germany, I could
communicate with local people at a cafe. Through this conversation with German
people, I could get some information about their country. Their lifestyles,
food cultures, and their language too. If I just went to museums, maybe it was
very hard and boring to learn about their culture. Also, people can learn about
local cultures. Learning about ruler areas are important to get to know about
that country. In South Korea, for instance, ruler areas do not have a lot of
museums for their culture. So, the best way to learn about them is by talking to people who live there.
In addition, information from other sources
is more beneficial to know a country. To be specific, people use their time to
go to museums, but they can get information in their house if they search for information on the Internet. Also, knowledge from books has more detail
information about something than museums have, because museums have no plenty
of space to inform a lot of information about something. For example, when I was
a freshman, I had an assignment about the history of Korean language
history. First, I went to the language history museum to find out information
about it. I could find various information about it, however, I could not find
detail information. So, I went back to the school library to find details. I
could find information not only details about it but also other aspects that I
could not find at the museum. If I went to the school library at first, I
could save my time to make my report.
To sum up, people can get information about
a country more efficiently from other people, and people can get profound and
thorough information from other sources. In this regard, I firmly believe that
museums are not the best way to get to know a country. |
