▶ Your Answer : Recently general awareness about whether it is wise
to attend university or not has aroused hearted arguments. People,
nevertheless, have conflicting ideas; while some people say that it is wise to
go to university, other deem otherwise. From my own point of view, I am in agreement
with the former stand. The first reason for my opinion that can be seen by
every person is that college is not only about studying, and learning but also
include different types of unique activities such as visiting developing country
for volunteer work, educating younger students, etc. In many universities, they
promote such activities in order to arise student’s awareness that they should
always try to help the others as a member of the society. The good thing is,
these meaningful activities are easy to participate in many colleges by joining
clubs.
Another equally important reason is, that people can
learn how to socialize with different people. In college unlike high school,
people are gathered from all around the world, having different cultural background.
By communicating with them, every individuals could improve their socializing
skills, and could understand different cultures as an open-minded person.
The third and most noteworthy reason is that college
allows you to have deeper knowledge in specific area. Being expert in certain
field will obviously make you easier to get employed. This is because, the fact
that you are having special knowledge or skills regarding to specific field,
makes you extraordinary among many people. Companies are always seeking for
those expertise people, and thus being one of those kinds will improve your
standard of living as a whole.
Looking at all the statements above, there are many
reasons to be considered, but at the end of the day, I would rather attend
college or university in order to experience worthy events, to be socializing
person, and to learn deeper knowledge for my future. |
