It is of great importance for people to
keep healthy along with longevity with an advancement of the medical
development. There are several ways to improve people's health by change in
life; the kinds of food, the amount of exercise and the amount of stress people
get in life. If I were asked to choose
one among them, I would choose the kinds of food I eat. The reasons are as
follows.
First and foremost, the kinds of food is the easy way people can choose
to enhance health because people cannot maintain life without food. There are a
great selection of dishes that are available. It does not need any effort.
However, to do a exercise, people should put time aside to do that. It is quite
demanding for some people who are burden with work and house chores. In addition
to this, it is impossible to control the amount of stress you get in life. Whereas,
people can choose how much to eat and what to eat too.
On
top of that, It is the fastest way to improve people's health by changing the
food. There is an old saying that we eat what we are. It means that the food we
eat is a key factor of our body condition. My personal experience is a good example of this to support this idea.
when I was high school student, I used to munch down a lot of fast good such as
hamburger and sodas. Eating like this eventually ends up me getting sick. I was
diagnosed early stage of diabetes and gained
weight. I was quite shock by that. Since then, I have totally changed my diet
to daily protein with vegetable in every meal and no sugary drinks. It helps me
a lot to lose my weight as well as get away from the diabetes. Without changing
the diet, I would rely on the medication now.
To sum up, I strongly believe that the
advantage of changing food we eat is far outweigh those of any other option for
the reasons I mentioned above. All in all, the importance of food cannot be underestimated in improving
people's health.
