▶ Your Answer : Undoubtedly day routine plays a significant role in many places where we play or work. There are two main types of routine: getting up early in the morning and going to bed late at night, and people may prefer one over the other. Respective sides may hold their own reasons to support their views. If I were asked to choose one, I would say that I prefer waking up early and start working early as well. There are several reasons as follows.
To begin with, early birds can spend time with their family or friends after work. If people start the day's work earlier than others, they are more likely to get their job done before dinner time. Then they are could have super with their friends or family. Spending time with loving ones makes people's lives more meaningful and refreshing. Let me take my friends Delma as an example. She used to work in the financial district and had to work until 3 in the morning due to the fact that major stock markets in UK and NewYork opens late. Therefore, she involuntarily had to work until late at night. She couldn't meet any friends and even family, since everyone was sleeping when she got back from work. As a result, she got depressed feeling that her life is an exhausting routine without any motivations and finally she happened to quit the job. 3 months later, she got a new job where all of her coworkers started working early in the morning. Waking up early and get her work done early as well, she was able to spend her extra time doing whatever she wants to do such as hanging out with friends and going to movie theater with her parents. She also became so bright and positive afterwards due to the fact that she no longer had to dedicate her evening to the company. Without changing her daily routine to early bird instead of night owl, she would not been able to become a motivated and relaxed person.
In addition, staying up until late night can be detrimental to people's health. Usually, when you work during the whole night, you will consume more greasy foods because our organs want those kinds of food at night. Then you will earn more calories and possibly diagnosed as obesity. For example, I am now working until 10 pm everyday because I am teaching students at academic institutes starting from evening. I honestly eat friend chicken or ice cream everyday and gained more than 10 kg for one month. Therefore, I can say it with confidence that staying up late can harm your physical health.
To sum up, I strongly believe that the advantages of getting up early far outweigh that of staying up late. All in all, the importance of starting one's daily routine early cannot be overestimated.
