▶ Your Answer : Undoubtedly, money plays a significant role in people's lives in many of the places where they work or play. Some people think that choosing jobs depending on high salaries is better, others do not. Both sides may have their own reasons to support their views. If I were asked to choose one, I would say that high salaries are the most important consideration when choosing a job. First of all, the amount of money can encourage people to work hard feeling rewarding. When people earn a lot of money in their workplaces, they might devote themselves willingly to their company. This is because money plays a vital role in one's life. With the money, people can buy whatever they want ranging from staples to a big house. It can lead people to satisfy their life. When I worked at Seoul National University Hospital as a nurse, I went through hardship with high laboring intensity, but salaries were fairly high. Although I did not satisfied with my work and had a less peaceful time, much money allowed me to enjoy day-off. I always enjoyed having luxury life such as holding a party at expensive hotels or shopping a lot of jewelry. I could let off some steam by spending an intriguing life. If I had earned low salaries, I would have quit the job earlier.
On top of that, when people work with low salaries, they hardly sustain their life. In this harsh society, people cannot avoid paying high taxes and a variety of fees. People who get low salaries are more likely to find an extra job to keep their lives. In this sense, it would be wiser that putting high salaries as the most important matter when they find a job.
To sum up, trying to consider high salaries, that is the desirable way to choose a job for the reasons I have mentioned above. All in all, it not exaggerating that the living environment is depending on their salaries |
