▶ Your Answer :
It is debatable whether having a part-time job while attending school
can be beneficial for 16 to 17. This is an intriguing question because opinion
concerning this issue can be different depending on people’s perspectives. in
my opinion, however, I support that it is advantageous to teenagers that having
a par-time job while attending school for the following reasons.
First of all, having a part-time job is beneficial for 16 to 17 years
old because it broadens teenagers’ perspectives. To be specific, working at café
or other convenience stores where many people have different background visit makes
teenagers experience diverse situation. It allows people to better understand
other culture, lifestyles, views. As modern society is increasingly becoming
globalized, today’ world require people with international viewpoints. Teenager
can do this by having a part-time job in order to face various situation and learn
these experiences. To illustrate, bill gates who is the founder of Microsoft made
great accomplishment in his lifetime. I read online that he was very successful
because he has global-minded and culturally sensitive. He did this by working
at restaurant when he was in high school. In working places, he met diverse
people and talked with them by serving foods. And he made coworker as his friend
who came from other cities. By interacting them, he broadened his views that
was narrowed before he had part-time job. This proves that teenager should have
a part-time job in order to widen their views.
In addition, working a part-time job is good for younger such as 16
to 17 years old because it accompanies educational process. In other words, teenagers
can learn a sense of economy by earning money which as a result allows people
to gain valuable information, stay ahead, attain personal growth. People need
to be educated through their lives because education is the most powerful weapons
to change the world as well as their own lives. For instance, according a study
done by Korean times, it revealed that people who had part-time job when they are
younger is more successful than people who did not have part time job in 16 to
17. 90% of respondents say that they know it is necessary to prepare money for
the future. And they notice that thanks to their part-time experience. This is
legitimate that it is beneficial for 16 to 17 to have part-time job because it accompanies
educational process.
In conclusion, I firmly believed that teenager should have part-time
job while attending school. All things considered, it is my belief that my
argument has been effectively delivered with reasons mentioned above. Never should
we forget that this issue can have huge impact on our future.
