▶ Your Answer :
It is debatable whether
people living in the country feel happier than living in city. This is an
intriguing question because opinions concerning this issue can be different concerning
individual perspective. In my opinion, however, I support that people living in
the city feel happier than living in country for the following reasons.
First
of all, people who live in the city can relax and relieve stress by enjoying diverse
leisure activities. To be specific, people can go to museums and art galleries
in their free time, which makes them better manage stress, maintain health, and
build a quality life. Stress is the main causes of disease and dissatisfying life.
Therefore, people in modern society should actively find ways to reduce stress
and stay healthy. For example, when I was younger, I went to the theater, shopping
mall that do not exist in countryside. This helped me to forget about the stressful
aspects of my daily life such as studying for exams and writing papers. Through
this experience, I realized that there are many things to relieve stress for me
in the city. Hence, this shows that people have to live in the city in order to
lead a healthy and fulfilling life.
In
addition, living in the city broadens people’s perspectives. To be specific,
people can meet diverse people in the city, which as a result allows them to
better understand other cultures, lifestyles and perspectives. As modern society
is becoming globalized, today’s people need international views to be happy.
People can do this by meeting people from various countries in the city. To
illustrate, Steve Jobs, who is the founder of Apple, made great accomplishments
in his lifetime. I read online that he was very happy because he was
global-minded and culturally sensitive. He did this by living in the city and
meeting diverse people. Therefore, this proves that living in the city is happier
than living in the rural.
In
conclusion, I firmly believe that people must live in the city rather than country
to be happy. All thing considered, it is my belief that my argument, regarding
this topic has been effectively and precisely delivered with the reasons I mentioned
above.
