Undoubtedly,
improving people’s health plays a significant role in people’s daily lives in
many of time when they work or play. Some people think that changing the amount
of exercise or stress in their lives, while others do not. Both sides have
their own reasons to support their views. If I were asked to choose one, I
would say that changing food quality would be my choice to improve my health.
There are several reasons as follows.
To begin with, giving a change to food
quality is very simple. Every person including me has their meals at least two
or three times a day and it is essential. Eating food is one of the most
natural routine and it does not require more time to spend on it. For example,
in the beginning of this year, I felt tired and low. Because I live by myself,
I usually ate fast food or junk food which is easy to ingest. I tried to change
my food quality to health food such as rice, meat, and soup. It was very easy
to move on an action because I do not need extra time to alter it. Everyday I
have three meals and turned menu for my meals. Since I change my diet, I have
felt better and energetic. Without switching food quality, I would have still
become lethargic.
Moreover,
controlling the amount of exercise and stress is not easy. To work out, people
need to make time for it and mostly people get stress not because of themselves.
Changing the amount of exercise and stress are easily affected by external factors.
For instance, one of my coworkers enrolled in a fitness center to lose his
weight. He definitely needed it because he was warned by a doctor due to his
overweight. First a few days, he worked out regularly and very hard. However,
soon he was not able to go to the gym because his project got very busy. He had
to be done his work, arrange meetings with cooperative company and report result
to his boss. Eventually, he suspended his plan and during this period he was
under much pressure. He realized that making time for exercise and controlling
the amount of pressure is very hard to handle. If he chose switching food quality
as a way to enhance his health, he would have been able to succeed.
In brief, I strongly believe that the
advantages of switching food quality far outweigh those of altering the amount
of exercise or stress in terms of enhancing my health. All in all, turning menu
cannot be overestimated in promotion of health. |
