There might be some people who argue that for gaining information reading paper materials is better than watching electronic devices. However, contrary to this, I personally disagree with the statement that reading paper materials is better than watching electronic devices to gain information. The concept of storing information and convenience of searching information will support my idea.
To begin with, using electronic devices help people to store the information. After watching the information by electronic devices, people can store the information easily in the device. However, paper material is hard to store since their own volume. Therefore people can lose the information that they wanted to keep when they use paper material. For example, when I was in university, I was the only person who read information by paper materials although all of my friends used tablets for watching it. At the exam period I always had a hard time bringing all of the materials since it was a big volume. As a result, sometimes I lost my paper materials meaning I failed to gain information. If I had used electronic devices, I would have gained more information by collecting it more effectively.
In addition, gaining information by electronic devices helps people to search further information. This is mainly because electronic devices have lots of ability including searching information. However, when people have questions when they read paper materials, they should look for other material for searching about it. For example, when we read a book, we often encounter words that we don't know about the exact meaning. If we are using the electronic devices, we can easily find it using the internet or application of a dictionary in the devices. However, when we are reading a paper book, we should bring the dictionary additionally or bring a laptop to use the internet. Therefore it is much convenient to watch electronic devices to gain information.
To sum up, gaining information by watching electronic devices can help people to store information easily and search further information conveniently. In this regard, I disagree with the given statement.
