It is a well known fact that animals are endangered
because humans use the land for their own. Hence, there are such a controversy
whether to use the land for human needs like farms, houses, and factories than
for the animals. Upon this discussion there might be some people who believe
that is better to use the land for the humans. However, i think the contrary
because of two reasons. Earth is not owned by humans and there are a lot of
consequences which affect us.
First of all, Earth is a planet populated
by many organisms such as bacteria, fungus, animals. However, what humans are
doing is destroying the habitat for all of them for the benefit of their own. Thus,
this animals lose their life and habitat. Moreover, if this animals get
extinct, there is no way fo return them. For instance, humans destroyed the
habitat of the predator of animals preying from bugs affecting the farms of
humans. Hence there is no way to prevent this bugs rather than with chemicals
which also affects the ecosystem by killing other animals. Creating a cycle
which makes worse and worse the earth.
In addition, humans change the earth and
these make side effects which then affect human, also known as the boomerang
effect Humans destroying the ecosystem also destroy the system which protected
themselves. I can illustrate this easier with an example. A clear example is
the flood and the soil erosion. people deforestate forests for economical
reasons. Therefore, there are no roots of trees to absorb the rainfall so all
this water cause soil erosion and floods which destroy human habitat. According
to research done by a prominent university this boomerang effect has caused
several economic loss due to the fact that thousands lost their home and
business. Moreover the soil lost it's nutrients.
In conclusion, the planet earth is
populated by other not just by humans so we have to coexist. Further more, what
humans are doing creates side effects which will affect humans also. In this
regard, i strongly state that we need to protect the earth or our home. |
