▶ Your Answer : Undoubtedly, courses play a significant role in students' daily lives in many of the places where they study and play. There are several ways to form sessions such as only face-to-face courses with other students and professors, only online courses, and combinated versions. If I were asked to choose one, I would say that sessions mixed with face-to-face and online courses are the most beneficial environment for students. There are several reasons as follows.
To begin with, sessions combinated with face-to-face and online can generate both-side advantages. The face-to-face course has an advantage in socializing with others by getting to know and discussing about topics. The online course can give students more chances to interact with additional materials when listening to the course such as research papers, lecture videos, and articles. For example, when I was in the university, there were some classes that consisted of offline and online. When the class needed to perform activities such as experiments, our classmates met on offline and performed the activities by socializing with mates. On the one hand, when the class had a purpose for researching, we took part in the classes through online, which was helpful because we could find other online materials easily.
On top of that, sessions mixed with offline and online are likely to give students more chances to experience something different from what they would do in their usual classes. Therefore, it is likely to prevent them from feeling bored in the class. For instance, there was a history class at our university. Since the professor was trying to improve the students' interest in the history, our classmates visited the famous historical sites and learned the knowledge from our eyes at offline. In addition, since the professor had a hope that students could learn the recent trends of excavations, we met on online and could listen to the lecture with recent pictures of excavated relics and research papers.
All things considered, I strongly believe that mixing the advantages of online and offline far outweigh those of other versions of sessions. All in all, the importance of keeping students' interest in the class higher cannot be overestimated in the class.
