There are 196 countries and roughly 6,500 spoken languages in the world today.
Of course, following this large number of countries and languages, there is a countless
number of cultures on this planet. Therefore, I have tons of places that I really want to
travel to during my life such as Paris, London, Beijing, Moscow, and so on. If I could
visit only one country during my whole life, however, then I would choose to travel to
the United States of America.
The population of the USA consists of a variety of people from many different countries
in the world, and is therefore a great place to learn about various cultures as well. Also,
many people agree that it's the greatest country on Earth. Finally, there are so many
interesting cities that I can visit in the USA as well. America was built on July 4th, 1776.
After it was founded, numerous people crossed the borders of the country with many
wishes and dreams about starting a new life. Therefore, America became a country of
immigrants which means that people from several different places, and of different race
s, backgrounds, and cultures live there now. I think the main reason for anyone to travel
is to experience or view new things. So, if I could choose only one country to travel to,
then I don’t believe there is any reason to visit a country with only one group of people
that share a collective culture. Also, when there are many people in one country, it's
much easier to make new friends while traveling around.
Being able to not only experience new things but also make new friends simultaneously
is a very effective way to travel. Now, America has a GDP of 16.77 trillion USD, which
is 25% of the GDP of the entire world. This proves that the USA is the richest country.
No one can deny the fact that the wealthier the country we visit, the easier it is for us
to travel. This is because there are many beneficial services for travelers. Actually,
having adequate services available to tourists is one of the most important aspects of
the tourism industry.
In America, there are many hotels, inns, restaurants, information centers, tour
companies, and plenty more for travelers, which can make the travel experience much
more enjoyable. Lastly, the United States offers a vast number of alternative places that
people can choose to travel to. In the USA, there are approximately 10,000 cities that
travelers can visit. As most people know, the United States is home to many world-famous
cities including New York City, Los Angeles, Las Vegas, Chicago, Washington, Boston,
and so on. While these cities are very large and busy, people who want a more relaxed
experience can also visit much smaller, rural towns far away from urbanization. This
variety allows people to encounter different lifestyles. Many people have their own wish-
list for traveling.
One person might want to travel through Asia, and another might want to visit Europe;
however, if there is only one chance and choice among the 196 countries of the world,
then we must choose carefully. If I were in such a situation, then I would choose to
travel around the United States of America without much concern. I could meet many
different people from other countries or places, and learn about their traditions. Further
more, it's the richest country in the world so I would be very comfortable.
Lastly, there are many alternative cities for me to choose from with dissimilar styles. I
personally hope, however, that I will never be limited to visiting only one country
throughout my lifetime.
