제가 금융공학과로 보스턴하고 OGI를 붙었는데
OHSU(Oregon health & science university)

Your application for admission has been reviewed; and the committee has
found you to be academically qualified for the Program. I am pleased to
advise you that the Director of the Mathematical Finance Program will
recommend to the Chairman of the Department of Mathematics and Statistics
and to the Graduate School of Arts and Sciences (GRS) that you be admitted
to the Program.
Since your International Student Data Form may not be complete, I think that
the Graduate School of Arts and Sciences Admissions Office will send you a
letter asking you to submit an affidavit of support in which your sponsor
(your father) states his willingness to support you "for tuition and living
expenses for the duration of your degree program at Boston University."
If you access the link below and carefully review the Financial Declaration,
on Page 2 of the International Student Data Form, you will see that it asks
you to submit both a legalized letter of sponsorship and an official bank
statement. Since it appears that you submitted only the bank statement, you
may be asked to provide this additional document.

Within the next few weeks, you will receive a letter from the Graduate
School of Arts and Sciences Admissions Office. Please do not hesitate to
contact me if you have any questions.
By the way, Mr. Kim, the Mathematical Finance Program will begin July 8,
2002, in the Summer II session.

Congratulations! An official offer letter has been mailed to your
attention from the Computational Finance program at the OGI School of
Science & Engineering at OHSU. Please contact me if you have any questions
or concerns about the program. In the meantime, a copy of your letter follows:
February 22, 2002
We are pleased to inform you that you have been accepted for admission into
the Master of Science program in Computational Finance at the OGI School of
Science & Engineering at OHSU starting Fall 2002. We are also very pleased
to inform you that you are being considered for a Computational Finance
Fellowship. The Fellowship Committee hopes to announce fellowship amounts
in March 2002.
The MSCF recommended curriculum is designed to enable students to gain
in-depth knowledge of the most relevant subjects in finance, while honing
important foundational skills in applied mathematics, statistics and
computing. Please see our web site http://www.cse.ogi.edu/CompFin/ for
further curriculum details. Note that the Fall 2002 MSCF orientation will
be held on Monday, September 9, 2002, and the 10-day APC511 course will
begin on Tuesday, September 10, 2002. There is also a possibility of
beginning your studies in Spring (beginning April 1) or Summer 2002
(beginning June 24). If you wish to explore this option, please let us
know as soon as possible.
We anticipate a change in tuition for the 2002-2003 academic year, and we
will notify you of this, along with the decision on your possible
fellowship award, when the new rate is determined. Given the very
rewarding professional opportunities in the financial industry, earning a
master's in Computational Finance at OGI will very likely be a wise
investment over the long term.
To reserve your place in the program, please sign and return the enclosed
copy of this offer letter along with a check (non-refundable) for $500 made
payable to Oregon Health & Science University. This deposit will be applied
to your first quarter tuition. We must receive your signed letter and
deposit by March 31, 2002.
Please do not hesitate to contact the Program Director (moody@cse.ogi.edu)
or Shelly Charles, Program Administrator (shelly@cse.ogi.edu), if you have
any questions. We are confident that you will find OGI's Master of Science
in Computational Finance to be a rich, exciting and rewarding educational
experience, and we look forward to you joining us.
Sincerely,
John Moody James Hook Professor and
Director Associate Professor and Department Head
Computational Finance Program Computer Science and
Engineering Department
I accept the offer of admission and the fellowship for OGI's Computational
Finance Program for Fall 2002.
