▶ Your Answer :
Various opinions
may exist over the argument that if you are supposed to make a presentation,
which do you prefer between preparing right before the presentation and
preparing for a long time. As far as I am concerned, I prefer preparing right
before the presentation. The two reasons mentioned below can be valid evidence
to support my point.
First of all,
people can find emotional relief by preparing right before the presentation because
they can enjoy more free time than preparing for a long time. Today, many people
are weary with too much stress. By going to theater or enjoying listening
music, however, they can temporarily forget about their problems and gain some
breathing space. In this respect, delaying preparation of the presentation as
much as possible until last minute can be a great means of saving their free
time and refreshing people’s minds. My personal experience can be used to prove
this point. Every morning, I have to get through traffic congestion to go to
work and read through countless books to prepare presentation for daily meeting.
To make matters worse, I get exhausted coping with my subordinates and boss.
Hence, as a way to relieve my stress, I frequently delay the preparation of
presentation. Instead of that time, I watch movie at my home with my family. Even
if it is only for a short period of time, my feelings become relaxed, and I am
no longer thinking about the preparation of presentation for meeting. Indeed,
during this brief period of enjoyment, I am able to alleviate tension and
better prepare myself for the upcoming days. Therefore, I prefer to prepare
right before the presentation.
Secondly,
preparing right before the presentation is actually better than preparing for a
long time because it is more time-efficient. A key to success nowadays is efficiency.
Therefore, people who bear the maximum fruit with less are considered superior.
In this sense, saving their time by pending their preparation for the presentation
paves a more convenient way to success since people could do more valuable
things during that time such as reading books or studying hard. A research
conducted by a renowned professor named Satti from Seoul National
University indicates that people who prepare right before their presentation
attain their goal of success in a much more effectual way whereas having the
same accomplishments is somewhat difficult for people who preparing for a long
time. Likewise, his research proves that my argument is convincing.
All things
considered, with the reason mentioned above, I have sufficiently and adequately
explained my opinion in terms of stress and efficiency. |
