▶ Your Answer : Opinions might be divided over which methods are better between taking online class and participating class on campus. People from different walks of life may take different stances on this contentious issue. Personally, I believe that attending classes on campus is more beneficial than taking online classes, and there are two reasons that could validate my opinion. To begin with, taking classes with professor and friends can broaden students' perspectives. The fundamental reason is that off-line classes make them share different opinions through discussion. This processes not only give students chances to interact with others without conflicts, but also make them experience various opinions that they have never known before. Consequently, They can take a quantum leap in intellectual growth and accept diversity important in complicated society. My experience demonstrate this concept. A freshman in college, I spent a lot of time with my friend in debate club. We often debated each other about social phenomena, I could widen my views on society through this process. On top of that, It is helpful to take a academic progress through participating off-line classes. we could have questions if some concepts are not fully understood. By taking a lecture, we can question immediately to professor or peers and take a quick feed-back. Furthermore, these processes are helpful that students can be more likely to concentrate on the classes. The evidence for this comes from a study by Korea National University of Education. According to one of their studies, researchers examined what types of classes are more efficient. By dividing volunteering students into two group, those in Group A take a off-line class, whereas the others in Group B take on-line class, and all of them are take a lecture composed same contents. Then, the researchers tested them through exam. This study reported that those in Group A take 40 percent higher scores than those in group B did. To sum up, taking a class on campus can make student broaden their perspectives and take academic progress. In this regard, I maintain that it is beneficial for students to take real classes |
