▶ Your Answer :People are social animals, and we can't live alone. we need
other people's help, love, and care. Especially the relationship between
friends is important for people because they choose their friends, not given by
others. Some people enjoy meeting new people and continue to get along more
with their new friends, while others keep focusing on their old relationships.
Both sides may have their reasons to have their relationship style, but I would
say that people should cherish their old friends. There are several reasons as
follows.
First of all, old friends and I have a long history. We have
experienced a lot of events, changes, and accidents together. My old friends
aware of things that have happened in my family, and know my other friends
well. I don’t need to talk a lot about how I feel in a certain situation. If
they know things happen to me, they can feel the same with my emotions. So when
I am with them, I can be relieved with them without any stress and get energy
from them. With new friends, there are some areas I don’t know well about them.
I like them a lot, and I hang out more with them. But I still need to be
cautious to talk with them.
Furthermore, I met my old friend when I was very young. I
met them when I was in kindergarten. When we were young, we were more naïve and
had an open mind. So we can communicate deep inside without any hesitation. And
we were in the same town, so we had a lot in common. Therefore it was easier to
show me to my old friends. But I met my new friends recently. When we met we
were already adults and took a long time to know each other deeply. And we have
fewer things in common because we are from different parts of the country. Even
we are open to each other, it needs more time to understand each other.
Sometimes people think that they don’t need to care about
old friends because they already know well, and they will be the same place
even they neglect to keep in touch with their old friends. We should care about
all kinds of relationships invaluable. We need to put in the effort to be a
good friend. All in all, the importance of friends cannot be underestimated in
life. |
