▶ Your Answer :
I agree some
people believe that the ability of speaking well is much more important than the
ability of writing well. And especially when it comes to the area
of communication, I strongly support their insistence. By quoting several
merits of the ability of speaking well, I will demonstrate
the superiority of good-speaking over good-writing.
First, we must
agree that it is speaking we use the most as a tool of communication with others.
During our daily life, we never stop talking to others, on the other hand, sometimes
we happen to never write even a short sentence a day.
Second, the
ability of good speaking is very crucial to become a good leader. A good leader
must know how to share his vision and ideas with others without any
misunderstanding. by speaking of what he/she thinks
in his mind into cohesive
and logical words, he can even convince his opponents and leave an good
impression on them. For example, I’ve heard that whenever a election day of a
new presisdent or congressmen is coming, many candidates are desperate to hire
a skillful consultant of good eloquence to help them win the heart of the electorate on the
uncountable television debate forums.
Last, with the
fluent speaking skill, it is much easier for a person to
be able to achieve
what he dreams of, because the skill makes the person be more extrovert and
sociable and popular among others which will finally give him more opportunities
to wide his view of world and relationship. Everyone will love to spend time with
him not just for enjoying his witty and humorous speaking skill, but also for
sharing his view and opinion from his mature experience on many business
subjects.
In conclusion, if
you are confident of your speaking skill, then you
will be more open
toward other people around you. And whenever there happens a time when you have
to persuade your opponents, you will be never anxious or restless, because you
know you are always ready and capable of winning any debate with your cohesive and
logical speaking skill. That is why I strongly believe the ability of speaking
well is much more important than the ability of the writing well.
